Dr. Hunter Bennett is a Lecturer in Exercise and Sport Science in the School of Allied Health and Human Performance at Adelaide University. Hunter completed his PhD in 2020, and his research currently explores how exercise can improve performance in healthy, athletic, and clinical populations, and injury profiles and concussion risk factors in athletic populations.

Jen qualified with a BSc Hons in Physiotherapy from the University of Nottingham in 2012. Over the past 13 years she has gained a wealth of experience in treating a wide range of upper and lower limb injuries and has worked both in the NHS and private practise. This includes working closely with orthopaedic teams and being involved in the development of pre and post operative rehabilitation protocols following achilles tendon ruptures and hip and knee arthroscopy surgery.

I'm Melissa Reynolds, an experienced sports physiotherapist with eight years of clinical practice, including three years working in the NHS. Based in Marylebone, London W1G, I specialise in musculoskeletal injuries, sports-related conditions, rheumatological issues and post-operative rehabilitation. I have particular expertise in lower back and lower limb injuries, and I take a holistic, evidence-based approach to sports physiotherapy treatment.

Andy Galbraith attained his first degree in Sports Rehabilitation and Sports Science at St Mary's University in 2002. He then completed an MSc in Sport and Exercise Science at Roehampton University. Andy's PhD, which he completed at the University of Kent, investigated the physiology of endurance running performance.

Currently, my research is focused on investigating the effects of ketogenic diets on endurance performance alone and in combination with carbohydrate supplementation. I have other research interests in nutrition for injury and endurance physiology. Alongside my role in academia and research, I provide performance nutrition consultancy to private clients and organisations across a range of sports, which assists in my delivery of both mechanistic and applied research.

James has been a member of the Cardiff School of Sport in a period spanning 3 decades; first, as an undergraduate student in 1997, before returning as a coach in 2008 and commencing his MA postgraduate studies in 2010. In 2011, he became a member of staff specialising in the practical performance side of the Athletics Module.

Mike's research programme explores adaptation of the oxygen transport chain in response to exercise and environmental stimuli through the lens of integrative physiology. These research interests are explored by utilising a wide range of direct interventional techniques and innovative imaging technologies in the assessment of cardiac, cerebrovascular, haematological and neurovascular physiology.

Lecturer, Strength, Conditioning and Rehabilitation, Coventry University

Sport and Exercise Scientist with expertise in exercise physiology, endurance performance, strength and conditioning, and athlete testing. I teach undergraduate and postgraduate students while working with athletes and sports organisations to apply evidence-based sport science in practice. As an ex international 5km runner my interests include endurance training, performance physiology, long-term athlete development, and the translation of research into coaching and performance environments.

Stephen Garland, PhD, is a Senior Lecturer in Sport Science at Malmö University with expertise in physical activity and health.
